Learnify System Requirements

For End Users

Full support is given to users of the platform as long as the provider of respective web browser and operating system supports it (meaning as long as “end of life” has not been reached). Currently the following is fully supported:

  • Google Chrome on Windows, MacOS, iOS and Android
  • Microsoft Edge (chromium-based version only)
  • Internet Explorer 11 under Windows

Limited support (“best effort”) is also provided for the following web browsers:

  • Firefox
  • Safari (on iOS and MacOS)

Further requirements:

  • That the end user is not blocked from accessing Learnify’s servers over the Internet.
  • That the end user allows Cookies and JavaScript.
  • That the end user has the ability to view any files that is part of the learning content provided – as created by the author of the content.
  • For the end user to be able to download a summary of participation in social exercises the ability to read PDF files is required.

For Authors

The following is required in order to create learning content using Learnify Tools:

  • Google Chrome web browser on Windows or MacOS as required for end users.

Other browsers and operating system may work but are not fully supported by Learnify.

Authors may upload additional media and content in Learnify tools that requite additional components for the end user to be able to view the content correctly. It is the responsibility of the Author to make sure that such components are available for the end users where such content is used.

Development, Information and Updates

Development and Updates

As the Learnify Tools Suite is continuously updated and developed over time functions may change over time. We will notify and update as follows:

  • Monthly webinars showing what’s on the development agenda. 
  • News and updates are described in the Help Centre under News.
  • Descriptions, examples and manuals are available in the Help Centre under Guides for respective product.
  • Updates are normally performed between 06 and 07 CET am on Thursdays.

Major Changes or Incidents

Learnify will inform at least one month prior to:

  • Rendering created data in need of revision in order to keep working
  • Affecting integrations to other systems
  • Moving physical locations from which our services are provided
  • Doing planned changes to the system outside the normal service window
